Kongsang Mountain is steeped in ancient Taoist legends and named after the mythical 'Kongsang' (Empty Mulberry) tree, where, according to mythology, the ancient sage king Shennong discovered agriculture. The mountain's unique geological formations, particularly its vast limestone caves, have served as sites for Taoist meditation and retreat for centuries, blending natural mystery with spiritual heritage.
