Gexian Mountain is named after Ge Xuan, a famous Taoist alchemist of the Eastern Wu period who is said to have achieved immortality here. For nearly 2,000 years, it has been a sacred site for both Taoism and Buddhism. The 'Gexian Village' resort at the base was built to revive the cultural essence of the Han and Tang dynasties, featuring traditional architecture that creates a mystical 'Immortal Village' atmosphere.
