Shengjin Tower
Shengjin Tower is a historic Buddhist pagoda dating back to the Tang Dynasty, originally built in 904 AD. Standing 59 meters tall with seven stories, this ancient structure has witnessed over a thousand years of Nanchang's history and remains an important cultural landmark.
📜 Histoire
The Shengjin Tower was originally built in 904 AD during the Tang Dynasty. Legend has it that a golden box containing a golden rope and four golden bowls was discovered during its construction, giving the tower its name (Rope Gold Tower). It has been a symbol of Nanchang's spiritual and cultural heritage for over a millennium.
