📜 History

Longhu Mountain (Dragon and Tiger Mountain) is the birthplace of Taoism. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, Zhang Daoling, the first Celestial Master, settled here to practice alchemy. Legend says that when the elixir was formed, a dragon and tiger appeared, giving the mountain its name. For centuries, it has been the spiritual center of the Zhengyi Dao sect and is home to the majestic Tianshi Mansion and a vast array of ancient cliff burials.
