📜 History

Guifeng, part of the Danxia World Natural Heritage, has a history of geological formation dating back 100 million years. Historically, it was a major center for Buddhism and Taoism in eastern Jiangxi since the Tang Dynasty. The area is named for its unique granite peaks that resemble tortoises, and it has inspired countless poets and scholars throughout Chinese history.
