π History
Wanggong Ancestral Hall is a memorial dedicated to Wang Anshi, the renowned Northern Song Dynasty reformer, statesman, and poet who was a native of Fuzhou. The hall commemorates his life and his 'New Policies' (Xin Fa), which were some of the most ambitious social and economic reforms in Chinese history. It also celebrates his literary legacy as one of the Eight Great Masters of the Tang and Song.
